2009 Road Tax season is upon us.
What you need to pay your road tax with us is your title and if your car was in your name before April 1, 2009 we also need your 2008 road tax receipt or proof that it was paid. Also we charge a $10 or 1000 Yen handling fee.
Rate for a 300 series is 19000 Yen
Rate for a 500 series is 7500 Yen
Road tax must be paid in YEN ONLY
Yellow plate road tax must be paid to the city office. We are sorry we do not provide this service.
The process for paying your road tax here is as follows:
- Pay $10 or 1000 Yen handling fee
- Pay in YEN ONLY your road tax (rates mentioned above)
- Give us your title and 2008 road tax receipt so we can show them to LTO
- We make a copy and give that to you so you can still drive your car
- We will provide you a date when you need to return to BC and pickup your finished paperwork
